If someone ever asks you “Are there any ugly views in Cape Ferrat, Nice, or Monaco?” the answer is…

No.

Nope.

Not even close.

After seeing all the sights in Paris, Aix en Provence, Gordes, Arles, Cassis, and Juan les Pins, our time in Cape Ferrat, Nice, and Monaco was decidedly chill. Lots of gazing at the gorgeous cliffside views. Walking through perfectly manicured gardens, enjoying the light breeze drifting off the water, and in Monaco, spotting pictures of Princess Grace, well, everywhere.

One of the funnier observations in Nice happened while I enjoyed Moules Frites with Will at La Claire Fontaine smack dab in the middle of the square. While glancing at the ornate churches, cute little gelato shops, and all the souvenir stalls, there are also locals just living their lives while I’m on vacation.

And that particular afternoon must’ve been laundry day as I spotted several people hanging their clothes from the balcony. Even in a place as beautiful as Nice, there’s still laundry to do. A nice reality check in the middle of paradise. 🙂
