Compared with, say, a tangle of glistening pasta draped just so in a pretty bowl, overnight oats aren’t going to win any Instagram beauty contests.
But if you’re looking for a quick and delicious way to begin your morning, overnight oats will definitely do the trick.
I start with this base recipe from Giadzy and get a little creative with the toppings/additions. I had oat milk instead of almond milk in the fridge, so I rolled with that. For a little extra protein, I swirled in a teaspoon of peanut butter and topped the oats with blueberries that looked good at the store.
I found these cute little containers on Amazon complete with a spoon that attaches to the side, which means you’ll be digging in that much quicker. When it starts really warming up in Texas, these are a go-to. I hope you’ll enjoy them too.
Any of you already making overnight oats regularly? What do you enjoy adding in?
